Hi there! I’m Greg Ahlswede, an ATA-certified Spanish-to-English translator with a passion for bridging linguistic and cultural gaps. I’ve been working in the translation world for over a decade, and along the way, I’ve built up expertise in a range of industries—from business and legal to sports, tourism, and the internet. My journey began when I studied Spanish Language and Literature at Shippensburg University, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of living and working in Spain, where I truly immersed myself in the language and culture.

While business and legal translations make up a large part of my work, I’ve had the chance to work on all sorts of projects. Whether it’s translating for sports teams, helping with tourism content, or even diving into internet-related projects, I’m always excited to take on new challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked with top Spanish corporations, including Repsol and Telefónica, but I’m always eager to bring my skills to a wider range of industries.

In addition to my translation work, I’ve spent time coaching the Junior National Orienteering Team in the U.S., which has taught me valuable leadership and communication skills. I love working with people and helping them understand each other, whether through translations or community interpreting. My goal is always to provide precise, culturally nuanced translations that resonate with your audience.
